Dawn breaks as I watch from my sandy bed in a dry river.

Hear the diurnal world as it rouses from its slumber and welcomes the new day.

Recorded alongside a small remnant pool of freshwater in the bushveld environment of the Limpopo River, bordering South Africa and Botswana. The River was mainly dry at the time of the recording, but with a lush sub-tropical woodland ecosystem along the banks, awaiting the next rains which were only a few days away.

This soundscape track is perfect to listen to as you lay in your bed preparing for the start of your day.
